The Work That Matters Most

Some of the most rewarding projects start with a family business that has been building something for decades and is ready to grow into the next version of itself.
Â
Belltec Industries has been headquartered in Belton, Texas since 1988. For more than 35 years, the company has designed, patented, and manufactured hydraulic augers, post-hole diggers, and drilling attachments used across construction, utility, and agricultural jobsites nationwide. They've expanded their facility several times over the years, most recently in 2017. Their current project is their most ambitious yet.
Â

Belltec is planning a $10 million expansion at their existing location at 2057 Commerce St. that would add 34,810 sq ft to the existing 32,000-sq ft operation, more than doubling their physical footprint. The growth makes room for a new paint coating line, additional welding equipment, and updated machinery. The company will maintain its current 34 employees and add at least five more within two years. The Belton City Council unanimously approved a $650,000 economic development incentive to support the project on May 12.
Â
Framework is proud to be the architect on this expansion, and Headwater Companies, based in Georgetown, is the construction partner. Framework and Headwater are currently working on many jobs across Central Texas and Houston markets, and that continuity carries real value on a job like this. A shared working history means fewer handoff gaps between design intent and field execution.
Â
Working alongside a multi-generational family business like Belltec means understanding more than the building program. It requires listening to how they operate and designing space that supports growth without disrupting what makes them effective.
Â
Belton sits inside what regional leaders call the "Texas Triangle," the corridor connecting Austin, Houston, and Dallas, where population growth and industrial investment continue to outpace national trends. Total private construction spending on U.S. manufacturing has tripled since January 2021, reaching nearly $230 billion. Much of that momentum is driven by established manufacturers expanding in place, deepening operational capability, and investing in the long game. Belltec is exactly that story.
